Sharon Ostalecki, PhD, President

Dr. Sharon Ostalecki is the founder and president of H.O.P.E. She graduated from Eastern University with a Bachelors' of Science Degree in science and a Masters in physics. She holds a Ph.D. in nutrition and specializes in Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue. Her practice is in Novi, Michigan. For the past 7 years Dr. Ostalecki has lectured internationally, and has written and published articles on Fibromyalgia. She recently published the book: Fibromyalgia: The Complete Guide from Medical Experts and Patients. She is the Michigan Representative for the National Fibromyalgia Association. For the past 15 years she has lived with Fibromyalgia, and brings her personal insights into her lectures and clinical practice.

She has been involved in many community/outreach programs. These include serving as an active member in the National Leaders Against Pain coalition and is an active member of the National Fibromyalgia Association, representing Michigan at conferences and symposia. She is also a media representative, responsible for educating the public on Fibromyalgia. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Great Lakes Fibromyalgia Association.

Our board of directors is comprised of outstanding individuals who have a deep compassion for the plight of people with Fibromyalgia, and volunteer their time to sit on our board.

H.O.P.E. is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to develop and execute programs dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with fibromyalgia.
